With donations of items, money, or services Change Makers actively invest in a victim's future. Whether it is a gas card to get to an appointment, a deposit on a new place to live, or a bag of toiletry items, donations help fill the crucial gaps in a victim's safety plan and make it possible for them to move towards their brighter tomorrows.
The Crime Victim Assistance Center and Children's Advocacy Center each operate a Hope Closet for clients receiving services.
At this time the Hope Closet is not able to accept used car seats, used mattresses, and any food donations- including pet food.
Items may be scheduled for pick-up or delivery by calling the Crime Victim Assistance at 254-629-3223 or the Children's Advocacy Center at 254-629-8229. Deliveries and/or pickups must be scheduled during normal business hours Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am-5:00 pm unless otherwise prearranged.
Have a service, skill, or expertise you think would help us? Contact Volunteer Coordinator, Gena Camacho at 254.629.3223 to discuss ways you and/or your group can be involved.
One-time and/or monthly donations can be made to invest in changing the lives of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or child abuse for as little as $10 a month.
Donors may also choose to support educational and preventive outreach into the Hispanic community by sponsoring a meal for the Las Comadres program.
