A tree of wishes- Angel tree giving Nov. 17th- Dec 13th
For those looking to give back this season, we welcome you to do so through our Angel Tree- full of ornaments holding the Christmas wishes from the children we work with at our center.
Please return the ornament and gifts to the designated drop-off area at Eastland Walmart, and feel the connection you are making with children in your community during the season. We love having an Angel Tree and the excitement conveyed to us by their caregivers is worth it. Stop by Walmart in Eastland for your groceries, toiletries, cold weather clothes, and while you're there consider swinging by the Angel Tree to give back. *****Please DO NOT wrap gifts. If you'd like to donate wrapping paper, we will provide that to the guardians. Allowing caregivers to wrap their family's gifts is another way to bless their season and feel connected to the gifts being given. |
the gift of comfort- Rugged Outfitters- Eastland nov 17th- dec 13th
When victims of abuse start new, they often leave behind many elements of their journey, including those "comfort" items. Some even lose their belongings entirely if they give clothes, underwear, phones, etc., to law enforcement for investigations or after a sexual assault.
The good news is that there is space for others to give back at our Comfort Tree set up at Eastland City Hall- a tree designed specifically to accept new comfort items that can be donated directly to our clients. As colder weather approaches, consider giving a gift of Comfort!
