Eastland County Crisis Center volunteers are a crucial component to the work we are able to do. From crisis response to manning tables and booths, ECCC volunteers do it all in a cooperative learning and supportive environment with the training, resources, communication, and mentorship to fully equip every type of volunteer.
We are currently accepting individual and group volunteers in one of the following categories:
ADVOCATE VOLUNTEER- Work directly with victims of domestic violence and sexual assault after regular business hours (evenings, weekends, and holidays); Day shifts also available
SPECIAL EVENTS VOLUNTEER- Participate in community outreach, fundraising, and awareness events for one or more days
OFFICE VOLUNTEER- Assist staff with light housekeeping and clerical duties during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)
SERVICE VOLUNTEER- Share your talent, passion, skill, or group project idea with us ex: landscaping, photography, baking, sewing, etc. (No additional application needed for one-time project)
